EVENT OVERVIEW
The GOLF CHANNEL Amateur Tour Phoenix is bringing you to McCormick Ranch in Scottsdale, AZ. Site of Qualifying for the Waste Management PGA Event at TPC.
The McCormick Ranch Golf Club offers any caliber of player two spectacular resort golf courses, which are open to the public 365 days a year. These well-manicured, traditional layouts are located amidst gorgeous scenery in the heart of Scottsdale.
The Palm and Pine championship tees are each over 7,000 yards long, in addition to enjoyable, yet challenging men’s, seniors’, and ladies’ tees.
The course allows you speedy play with its player friendly course, something we all want in Summer Desert Golf.
Meet the challenge of these fine courses, known for hosting the Arizona Amateur Stroke Play Championship, the Golf for Women National Club Championship, the Arizona Open Professional Golf Tournament, and the National Junior College Golf Championship.
The Tournament is an 18-hole Stroke Play Championship open to all current and former Tour Players as well as guests with a verifiable USGA handicap index.
Entry fee includes green fees, cart fees, range balls, trophies, scoring, BUFFET LUNCH and prize fund. An optional $20 skins game will be made available to interested players at check-in.
The registration deadline is at noon (Mountain Time) Wednesday 8 days, preceding the event. No late entries will be accepted and players are encouraged to register in a timely manner as registration is on a 1st come, 1st served basis, and is often filled before the deadline date.

FORMAT
18-hole stroke play championship. SHOTGUN START All entries are on a first come, first served basis
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS / PAIRINGS
The Tournament will be an 18-hole Stroke Play Championship open to all current Tour Members. This event is closed to guests. This WILL BE A SHOTGUN START. 8:00 am
Starting locations and pairings will be emailed to each Tour Player and posted online at least 4 days in advance of the tournament.
This will be a 8 am SHOTGUN START. All players must be in their carts at 7:40am.
If you are not in your cart at 7:40am Rule 5-3 will apply and you will be subject to a two (2) stroke penalty
USGA rules do not allow traffic problems or road closures as exceptions to late tee times. This is a work day for all the unfortunates, so traffic may be heavy. Plan to arrive early.
* In the event of a tie for 1st place, an on-course playoff will commence immediately following conclusion of regular play.
*Payouts will be awarded to (approximately) the top 30% of each flight
*Trophies will be awarded to Event Champions

ENTRY DEADLINE
The registration deadline will be December 4, 2019. at Noon Mountain Standard Time. No late entries will be accepted and players are encouraged to register in a timely manner as registration is on a 1st come, 1st served basis. All 2014-2019 events sold out well in advance of the deadline. If you want to play, register well before the deadline.
