EVENT OVERVIEW
Sea Island Resort will host the 4th Annual Sea Island Amatuer, a Golf Channel Amateur Tour Major Championship. The Sea Island Amateur will be contested over 36-holes. All participants are scheduled to play one (1) round at the Seaside course and one (1) round at the Plantation Golf Course. Tour Players from all over the country will converge on Sea Island, Georgia competing for double Order of Merit Points, exemptions into the 2020 National Championship, and the coveted title of "Sea Island Amateur Champion".
Entry fee includes all green fees, cart fees, range balls, trophies, player welcome packs, generous prize fund, and scoring.
QUALIFIERS
The top 3 finishers per flight, including ties, will earn an exemption into the 2020 National Championship.

Tournament check-in will be from 3:30pm to 6:30pm in the Sea Island Resort Lodge
Saturday January 25th, 2020
First Round of play from 8:00 to 10:00 am off Holes #1 and #10
Sunday January 26th, 2020
Final Round of play from 8:00 to 10:00 am off Holes #1 and #10

Awards Presentation in the Clubhouse that you finsish at as soon as the flight is completed.
ENTRY FEE & PAYMENT OPTION
$495 is the entry fee and it includes one scheduled round on the Seaside Course and one scheduled round for the Plantation Golf Course. Entry fee includes all green fees, cart fees, range balls, trophies, player welcome packs, generous prize fund, and scoring
ENTRY DEADLINE
Registration Opens on October 1st at noon and closes on January 17th at Noon.
PRACTICE ROUNDS
The practice rounds are $125.00 per round. Players can call the golf shop directly at 912.638.5118 to schedule the practice round. Participants can play 3 days prior to the tournament.
CADDIES AND SPECTATORS
Outside caddies are not allowed at Sea Island. Players are not allowed to walk and carry their own bag. Players must ride in a cart unless using a Sea Island Caddie.
CANCELLATION POLICY
A $75 Cancellation fee applies to any cancellation prior to January 17th, 2020 an 12:00PM. Any cancellation after January 17th, 2020 an 12:00PM will not be refunded for any reason.

ROOM RATES (based on availability only) – Taxes, currently at 7% sales tax, 5% room tax, a 2.25% Sea Island Infrastructure Fee, and $5.00/night Georgia state lodging tax are not included. Rate will be made available 2 days pre and post of the peak event dates.
