Palmer Flight – Bryan Wood 78
Bryan Wood’s 78 earned him a victory in the Palmer Flight, as well as the honor of being the tournament’s low gross score. It did not come easy, however, as both Stephen Labay and Richard Choi were hot on his heels. Labay had seven pars on the front nine alone, yet a bogey-bogey-bogey finish kept him out of the winner’s circle.

Hogan Flight – Billy Weaver 82
The Hogan Flight proved to be a real battle between Billy Weaver and Dino Liebe. Both players played terrific and recovered well after struggling on Saturday. Jeff Workman’s back nine 39 put him in the hunt as well, but it wasn’t quite enough to overcome the damage he did on the front nine. Weaver’s round was up and down throughout the day. His scorecard had a pair of birdies, as well as a pair of double bogies and a triple bogey. Weaver and Liebe each had the opportunity to win, but unfortunately both players doubled the 18th to finish with a score of 82. In the playoff, Billy Weaver emerged victorious and became our Hogan Flight Champion.

Sarazen Flight – Michael Betzale 90
In the Sarazen Flight, we had a great back and forth match between Michael Betzale and Anthony Smith. Both finished the front side with a score of 44. The pair would have been terrific best ball partners on the back nine. Smith started strong on the back and faltered late. While Betzale struggled after the turn, yet managed to finish strong, playing the last 5 holes at just two over par. Smith made a costly seven on the par-3 16th which allowed Betzale to come back and force a playoff with a score of 90. In the playoff, Betzale’s hot streak continued and he became the Sarazen Flight Champion.

Senior Sarazen Flight – Rick Swanson 84
Rick Swanson won the Senior Sarazen Flight with a score of 84, however, it was a battle between Swanson and Andre Fitzpatrick who shot 85. The two were tied through 14, until Fitzpatrick made a costly eight on the par-4 15th. Fitzpatrick finished strong, with a birdie on 17 and a par on 18, but the damage had been done. Swanson was steady all day, with six pars and a birdie on the short par 4 7th.

Jones Flight – Judy Crosson 92
We had four players within three shots in the Jones Flight, but ultimately Judy Crosson’s consistent play led her to victory. Crosson shot 46 on both nines for a score of 92. Jay Mills had a great front nine of 44, but the wheels came off on the back nine, leading to a final score of 95. Tommy Nguyen and Norman Gosselin had the opposite story, both players thrived on the back nine, but it was too little too late as neither could catch Crosson.

Snead Flight – Archie Smith 90
Archie Smith finished the front nine trailing Jack Iglesias by four, but Smith’s stellar back nine propelled him to victory. Smith made up the four shots after the 12th hole and did not stop there. Smith’s 41 on the back nine led him to a nine-shot victory, in part due to Iglesias’ 11 on the final hole. Iglesias’ 99 was still good for second.
